TUBULAR BELLS FOR TWO ANNOUNCE NEW MEMBER, UK TOUR
When we started this project we had no idea that it would be so well received. Never in our wildest dreams could we foresee it being in such high demand around the world nearly a decade on. We conjured up this bizarre idea when we were in our 20s; we were footloose and fancy free. However, as we get older, touring life can prove difficult when trying to balance our other commitments. And so, due to personal reasons, Aidan has decided to stop touring the show for the time being.
This has been a long and difficult decision, but we both want the show to continue to travel the world. So over the past year we have been searching for the right person to take over the reins. And today, we are excited to announce the newest member of the Tubular Bells for Two team, Tom Bamford.

Tom has been in rehearsals with us for a few months now, and will make his stage debut on our UK Tour in September and October this year. As you can imagine, it has been a massive undertaking for him to learn all the intricacies of this hectic stage show. He has been keenly studying every limb movement required to achieve our unique arrangement.
It is a privilege to perform this great piece of music, and we believe Tom has the right musical approach to bring it to life on stage.
Aidan will continue to be involved with the production as a creative director and will take the stage again when time permits.
