Aidan Roberts is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and illustrator from the Blue Mountains. A founding member of acclaimed psychedelic folk-rock group Belles Will Ring, Aidan has also recorded and performed as a solo artist under the name The Maple Trail since 2005. Following up 2012′s acclaimed release Cable Mount Warning, Aidan will release a new record in 2013, A. 

 A long-standing collaborator and guitarist with Australian singer Lanie Lane, he has also composed scores for theatre including King Lear, Hamlet, Tattoo, Some Voices, and Titus: The Ultimate Murder Ballad Musical.

 

Aidan is also working on a number of “hybrid”  projects, most recently The Dead City Lullabies, a graphic novel/digital work and musical soundscape.
